MEETING FREQUENCY: The Community Ministries Team meets quarterly or as often as deemed necessary by circumstances or as requested by the Director.
Focus On Ministry

One of the areas of expanding ministry opportunity being focused on by our Community Ministries Team is the WRBA Restorative Justice.
Dr. Dane Fowlkes is the Associate Director for the WRBA and is currently directing the Jail Ministry. For years loyal volunteers have spent their Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the McLennan County Correctional Center. This year, volunteers have lead numerous small group Bible studies with inmates and have passed out hundreds of Bibles. Many inmates have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Each week at least 18 volunteers are needed for the existing ministry. Additional opportunities for restorative justice ministries may be opening in the near future. If you would like more information on this or other “community ministries”, contact Dane at (254) 753-2408.
