Networking and Missions

PURPOSE:  The Networking and Missions Ministry Team serves the Waco Regional Baptist Association by facilitating the involvement of churches and individual members in global and local missions by connecting them with other congregations that are already engaged.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Identify and keep a current database of the major mission projects in which WRBA churches are involved.
2. Publicize through a variety of channels these mission opportunities for other WRBA churches and members to join.
3. Facilitate the organization of mission teams for mission trips and projects as needed. 
4. Maintain an up-to-date list of available resources for training and participating in mission trips.
5. Assist individuals in connecting with global and local missions opportunities when requested.
6. Assist churches in identifying individuals and/or churches that might fill needs on their mission teams when requested.

COMPOSITION:  The Networking and Missions Ministry Team is composed of sufficient members to accomplish its work as determined by the Administrative Team.  Members serve three (3) year rotating terms.  The Officers and Director are ex-officio members of the Team.

 ACCOUNTABILITY:  The Networking and Missions Ministry Team works in cooperation and consultation with the Director and is accountable to the Association.

 MEETING FREQUENCY:  The Networking and Missions Ministry Team meets quarterly or as often as deemed necessary by circumstances or as requested by the Director.
